In case anyone is interested, an Italian company by the name of Misutonida sells step bars, grill guards and rear bumper guards for the Renegade already. Ok ok we all know why they got a jump start on things: they are in the same country where the Renegades are built, probably got them before any other country did. I did not see any good pictures of the step bars from the side so I don't know how far down under the car they are mounted. Could not find out if they will ship them to the USA. The grill guards for certain decrease approach angle since they come out from under the front bumper, instead of coming out of the tow hooks space. But hey it's an aftermarket accessories start from some company other than Mopar.

But if I'm reading it right (and I'm probably not), those are only for the 2014 Renegade. I have the 2015. Am I wrong?:|

Stellner- I think the Renegade went on sale outside the USA in 2014 and thus they label them as such. In USA, we are calling it a 2015 vehicle since it went on sale in starting in Mar2015. Thats my best guess and assumption:):)
I clicked on the side bars pic and I couldn't get a price or how to order them. Does anyone know how to order them and because the company is in Italy, will they be very expensive?? :|

Just got an e-mail response from the above website and they said they don't have any dealers here in the U.S., but they will sell you merchandise independently. Not sure what Italian money is to U.S. dollars, but the side steps cost E200,000.

They use the comma where we use a period and a period where we use a comma -- so I think that is 200 Euro which based on an exchange rate of 1.12 is about $223.

What did they say for shipping? I personally want a bullbar but can't understand where the one on the site connects, it looks like it would significantly reduce the approach angle. I think the sidebars on that site look great -- if anyone gets them on a blue renegade i'd love to see how they look.

I may get those side steps. My mother-in-law has a tough time climbing up into my Trailhawk. :|

Looks like the TH's front tow hooks might prevent installation of the front bar.

I would love to see what these step bars look like on a Renegade. If only this company would make them for the Renegade. Can anyone photoshop them?
Do you have a link to that product. Maybe there is another image that can be used to Photoshop them on the Renegade, but that image can't be used since they are facing opposite.

Personally, I still would love the automatic steps I mentioned in the other thread.

Got an email from the company. They say they're "...discussing with UPS to obtain special price to ship to USA." They also said "If you have a Trailhawk model, I'm not sure that it's possible to fit our side bars."

Well, that would suck. We'll see. I would think there'd be more of a problem mounting the front and/or rear bars.

Prices:

P/376/IX 200 Euro
GP/376/IX 190 Euro
GPO/376/IX 195 Euro
DSP/376/IX 210 Euro

Looks like they are made by Rampage Products. See www.rampageproducts.com It's almost impossible to find a picture of a single step bar. I think they are the slim line stirrup step bars. There's lots of pictures of them on various Jeeps, trucks and SUV'S on the internet. Their web site does not show them as available for the Renegade. I just hope they are working to design this bar for the Renegade. And hey thanks if you can somehow manage to photoshop it on to a Renegade.

It was kinda hard finding good enough images that would match the profile.
Best I could do on short notice.

Hey TS thanks. That looks fantastic, job well done. FYI I emailed the manufacturer and they told me that they have not yet tried to fabricate anything for the Renegade as yet. However he did not think that they could fabricate step bars for the Regegade as it's a unibody design with just nothing to bolt them to. He said he would let me know if they do come up with something for the Renegade. I wrote him back to let him know that other companies already have running boards out for the Renegade. See my post about the Mitsutonda running boards. Hopefully they may figure out a way to produce them once they see that competitors have figured out a way.

I use my step bars on my FJ Cruiser to get kayaks on and off of the roof. And having step bars would help with getting them on and off of a Renegade. I was born a short person, still am.
