On the new UConnect, in the 2022 Compass, this gets reactivated and all settings switch back to default/most aggressive ones each time you start the car.

AND you have to press the button twice to deactivate it.

I really don't see sudden aggressive automatic steering-wheel movements to be a particularly "Safety" feature...

Update, stop start started to work again. I have noticed it works better in warmer weather and also takes a little while to start engaging after being on the highway for awhile. After multiple stops when back in the city it begins to work again.

Glad to hear that. This was after you had the battery replaced in January? So it looks like it does take some time to relearn.

I've noticed that too. I assume it's because cold weather puts more stress on the battery, and the system doesn't want to risk not being able to auto-start again...
