If Fiat closes the Toledo Jeep Wrangler plant, home of some of the most fanatical Jeep fundamentalists, would anyone like to take their new Fiat made Renegade thru downtown Toledo?

Would anyone expect a 'wave back' from any other Jeep owner in any part of the USA?

Lets hope Marchione is just playing for tax breaks from Ohio's governor before the November elections and won't really pull out of Toledo. I don't want someone to have to 'cover me' when I go for a drive.

Now that Brazil just made their first Renegade outside Italy, I don't see why not build it in Toldeo if such a move will take effect.

Sergio makes me sick, he latches his desperate empire onto another desperate empire near and dear to the .govs heart, proceeds to extort. The total he paid for Chrysler in entirety is what Jeep is worth ALONE.

I'm not sure who is to blame, Sergio or the schmucks who sold Chrysler to him...

1) Toledo makes all the wranglers you can sell, which is a lot. It also makes the cherokee. To add something there you have to either stockpile those, stop making some of those, or buld a new factory there nearby.

2) They jsut made the first renegade. So they already built a factory that does it. They aren't going to build two so they can have it in toledo. The point to make that argument passed some time ago.

I would, but it's too bad i'm no where close to Toledo.

But seeing how people feel about it, i can expect a strong presence of Jeep owners and others that are against what they're doing
