Thanks for the link, I liked this one much better than the Top Gear that was surprisingly a polite first drive review...

In this one I get useful details as for the Trailhawk such as "choppy ride" on soft roads, noisy tires and mirrors wind noise etc. the noisy tires and wind factor remind me of my present SUV, the Patriot...

I've read a range of reviews from complementing one to ones like this, the perception of the reviewer will have a lot of bias on the review, positive or negative. For me, I think my yardstick will be, can I have mild offroad fun with better on road manners that the Wrangler offers?

Who knows, when the 2018 redesigned Wrangler comes out, with it's rumored raked windshield and grill, along with possible IFS (independent front suspension) it may be worth a second look.

If the pictures are right, they have v shaped tread which is crap for road noise, especially on concrete. At least it is easily fixed by a tite swap.
