So I called customer care yesterday to check on the status of my order. It went like this:

Jeep: What's your VON?
Me: 1234567
Jeep: What's the make and model?
Me: Renegade
Jeep: Latitude? Limited?
Me: It's a Trailhawk.
Jeep: 2x4 or 4x4?
Me: ummm 4x4. All Trailhawks are 4x4, I think.
Jeep: my computer here is saying that it comes both ways.
Me: ummmm is that a European thing? I'm pretty sure that I was not given the choice.
Jeep: I only know what the computer is telling me.
etc.

Am I completely out of my mind?

trailhawks only come 4x4. that is all I have ever seen, and I think you cannot even equip one on the jeep site to build that way. Remember, the customer care probably has a cheat sheet question guide. standard questions.

They are 4x4 only. The operator is a script monkey, and the script is bad. They are like the chickens that play tic tac toe. Don't assume they actually are smart because they can do a trick.

Heh, a FWD-only would be a Trailpigeon not a Trailhawk

It's a call center. They aren't Jeep experts. Probably don't make enough to even consider getting a Trailhawk, poor things.
