I think that the new EV's will quite possibly be a Hy-brid with both petro and electric engines/motors.

Translation:
After the official photos of the concept car prefiguring the future "Baby Jeep", here we discover the first scoop images of this model which will arrive next year. If for the moment the models photographed are prototypes and these are very camouflaged, we guess under the adhesives a very modern line strongly inspired by the concept car. Scoop - Baby Jeep: the little Jeep SUV flushed out! For the moment it is called "Baby Jeep" while waiting to discover its real surname which is still top secret. For Jeep, this model will be placed under the Jeep Renegade and should allow the American brand to boost its sales. Unlike the Renegade, this model will only be two-wheel drive and will exist with thermal engines and at least one electric motor. Dressed in a beautiful camouflage, the "Baby Jeep" is resting while waiting to go back for testing. Despite the adhesives, we see that this model will take up a large part of the lines of the concept car (below). To create its small model, Jeep asked for help from the Stellantis group and above all from PSA, which provides the platform, a CMP technical base like that of the Peugeot 2008. The future Jeep model will also use the engines of the Peugeot 2008, including the engine 136 hp electric. We thought for a while that there could be a second electric motor on this model, at the rear, in order to have four-wheel drive, but this architecture should be reserved for the future Jeep Renegade which will arrive in 2025. No doubt possible, on these photos we can clearly see the exhaust outlet which proves that it is indeed a thermal model. The FCA plant in Tichy will not only produce the Jeep model, since there will also be a model of this type at Alfa Romeo. A small SUV that could be called Brennero (another alpine pass name like for the Stelvio and Tonale). Next will come a Fiat model, the first member of the future Centoventi family. The Jeep will be the first to be unveiled towards the end of the year for a launch in the spring of 2023. The Alfa Romeo model should be unveiled in early 2023 for a launch at the end of the year. As for the Fiat SUV (which should not replace the Fiat 500 X), it should wait until the end of 2023 to show itself.

I'd expect it to be as similar to the Peugeot 2008 as possible with a Jeep twist, but that may be a good thing. I read that the fwd system is surprisingly capable on the 2008 and isn't the maximum tyre size comparable to our Renegades? On a smaller Jeep that could make for a fun drive!

It certainly does look like the 2008 is the base. Which would explain why there's an exhaust pipe on a supposedly electric vehicle, since they have an existing vehicle to be the mule it can look very finished without being very finished.
