I'd go with the factory hitch bumper, especially in a Trailhawk; ground clearance.

This is a good do it yourself kit.

They look good in black...especially with the contrasting red tow hooks. My Trailhawk is also black but unfortunately the front tow hooks aren't legal in Europe so it doesn't look quite as smart.

Picked up the same myself this week... looks sweet in black eh? Only prob is - I picked it up last Tuesday, out in it on Sunday and took a stone to the windshield, chipping it right in the centre!!! ( It needs a replacement and the insurance company are trying to replace with a screen that is not Jeep original, without Easter Egg jeep pic etc :crying:

Front Tow Hooks arent legal? Why is that? Seems odd...

A lot of work has gone into the bumper on the years to save people when their hit by a car.
Europe thinks sticking 2 big metal 'leg breakers' on the front isn't the way to go.

New dash and front door speakers going in soon, hopefully this weekend (Iowa weather in the spring...highly unpredictable) and also roof rack going up. Next job, order factory bumper with hitch and modify bumper facia...

Just installed the Renegade Ready kit in my Latitude yesterday. It was nowhere near as daunting as I made it out to be. Just take your time getting the template in the right spot and cutting the opening.

Here's my video of installing the Renegade Ready kit.
It all went well. As another commented, don't use a screwdriver to push the fascia over the clips of the cut-out cover. It left marks on the bumper fascia.
