I don't want to give away to much about the donor vehicle... It did end up having some more damage than we expected as it was listed as minor front end and water damage (engine and all electronics were caput) however, she's also missing a couple windows and has some rear quarter damage, but for $3800 all in including transport it's still a helluva deal. The donor K24 engine is on the way as well as the transmission and rest of the CRV drivetrain. Plan for now is to go Fuel Tech for the computer, but I need to dig in a bit and find out if any of the factory wiring is salvageable as I'd love for the factory lights, etc to work without having to completely gut and rewire the entire vehicle. No matter what I was prepared for worst case scenario. Follow along this is going to be a fun build...
Goal is 1000+HP Honda K-Series AWD Swap and the title of the World's Fastest Renegade. I wanted to stay Mopar and go with an SRT4 2.4L, but the parts are going to be a nightmare for that. Simple things like head studs are on backorder and I was able to find a lot more of the Honda stuff on the shelf. We will officially start tearing into this thing in late October once I can make some solid headway, but I'll keep this thread alive with updates as often as possible and as parts start to arrive.
