Timing belt broke

Ok so you said the following "on the interstate last Thursday when it lost all power but stayed running" and " I found the tensioner pulley was crooked and serpentine belt broken. "
Neither of these are symptoms of a broken timing belt. this is a broken fan/serpentine belt which will make you lose power due to the loss of voltage from the alternator not turning. especially if your battery is 3 or more years old.
The timing belt is located inside the engine and is not visible without some disassembly and your engine would definitely not have stayed running if it broke.
The initial post says the shop pulled the timing cover to confirm the belt was missing teeth. Assuming that means it at least slipped.

I am confused that parts are 4 months out. My mechanic just did my wife’s belt and water pump in her 500 Abarth over the summer and had parts quick. I haven’t heard of any new supply issues.
