I have 235/70/R16s on my Latitude and a 1.5" Lift. They do NOT rub. I can't imagine they would rub without the lift; there is plenty of room for that tire at the stock height. If you add wheel spacers, then i could definitely see rubbing issues. Also, I would say this is the max you could go without a lift from what I've seen other owners do. Hope this helps!

Ps: General Grabber AT2s have been a great brand for me.

I like to use this handy calculator to help me determine new tire/wheel sizes and if they will fit or not...


You’ll also need to know your wheel offset which you can find OEM wheel information here...


If you’re running a stock wheel then you have a +40 offset which you can input into the first calculator.

just bought a 2017 sport can I put 235 70 16 on it without rubbing
