I am looking to buy a tow strap for my Trailhawk. I think a 30 foot X 2 inch 20,000 pound strap should do the job. I also see 30 foot X 3 inch 30,000 pound straps, but I think three inches is too wide for the tow hooks on the Renegade.
Any advice?
Also looking for a shovel and a jack base.

I bought two from US Cargo Control. Each is 2" x 25 feet, have reinforced eyelets, are rated for 20,000 lbs, and are made in the U.S.A. I think they were a little over $30 each.

This company makes straps with ratings over 120,000 pounds!

US Cargo Control has a Two Ton Come Along Cable Puller
Part #: CP2T for about $25; capacity = 4,000 lbs. Something like this along with a tow strap should be enough to get you unstuck from the mud.

Cool, anyone know of a good, minimal winch or pulley system in case you're the only vehicle and need to pull yourself out using a tree or something?
I use the More Power come along winch from Wyeth-Scott.
https://www.wyeth-scott.com/
Stows in the trunk until needed.
Will not distort or bend under load like the cheaper aluminum framed come-a-longs do.
