It’s mounted through the bumper so I needed a new bumper cover and hitch facia which is for the cutout piece.

That is not ideal for jeep type roads, trails. It needs to be mounted directly to the frame or the main supporting structure in several places. Look at a factory installed hitch and see how it is attached.

I just picked up a new OEM hitch from a junkyard in Canada. The big issue will be cutting it out. I also was going to get the oem harness so it would be stock plugs

New OEM hitch from a junk yard? You mean a hitch from a junked new rene. I'll have to look at mine but i think they are welded

They are removable. And I believe it was ordered to fix. But it's all good either way. They are unicorns.
