If I didn't read a forum, how would I know what thread pitch to go get?? ??

another recall to add to the list for this car.

"The trailer-hitch assembly may have been attached with only a single fastener per side, not three per side as required," the NHTSA said in its recall summary. "Without the proper number of fasteners, the trailer-hitch assembly may separate from the vehicle, and any towed vehicle may no longer be properly connected, increasing the risk of a crash."

There are a total of 6 studs/bolts that tie the hitch to the frame. My TH has the 2 outer most bolts (outside frame rails) there and the 4 inner bolts (2 per side) are missing. So potentiality of something coming undone while towing is the reason for the recall
