I just wanted to let everyone know that the status of my Trailhawk changed from BG to C. The Jeep Rep I talked with said most vehicles leave this within 15 days and have a firm schedule. Also confirmed dealer delivery will occur Mid June to early July. I have the MySky Roof, that doesn't appear to be the holdup.

Thanks, yes we ordered on the 15th. It might be an issue of allotment? The dealer we ordered from edited an existing order to include the additional options we wanted. It was already in the pipeline. Looking at the order sheet it was originally placed on 4/1 and edited on the 15th.

Congrats! I'm curious how you guys are tracking it? Is this all through dealer communication, or can you do this independently at home - using what I assume to be the VON and/or the VIN?

My dealer and I have been highly communicative (we even text about the vehicle) and I told him to let me know when he receives the VON and/or VIN (the latter for insurance purposes).

Is that the same as Control Number? I ordered on 4/4 and there is nothing on my paperwork that says VON. I have only a 6-digit control number. :/
You should have received a Priced Order Confirmation (POC) sheet that has either a Vehicle Order Number (VON) or a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

I'm not sure what the Control Number is - what does your paperwork look like? At the very least, for a factory order, you should have the POC and the sales form that has the order, pricing, trade-in, deposit, and amount due at delivery details on it as well as the terms of the agreement on the back.

Once you have a VON or a VIN, the dealer or someone at FCA can look up your status in the Vehicle Ordering and Inventory Management (VOIM) System, or if you have a contact with access to the factory scheduling system then they'll be able to look it up there. The two are generally in agreement, but the factory system will give more details and is usually the truer representation of what the status is.

Mine is still in New Order status, as of 2 hours ago, order placed 4/10.

I'm going to have to chat with my dealer, then. I've only got a receipt for my deposit. There is no build sheet because they said (at the time) that you can't order exactly what you want. You can only put together a wish list and they try to find one for you as close as they can to what you want. So the exact amount due upon delivery depends on what specific vehicle you end up with.

He told me something strange 2 days ago: that he's been searching daily for mine within 500 miles. Wouldn't it make sense to look for it *at least* nation-wide, or even in the enroute inventory? It wouldn't be the first time I flew 2000 miles to buy a car and drive it home over a long weekend.

This is really frustrating. My current car is starting to become unreliable. I need this new one to come in yesterday.

The 500 mile limitation is probably to do with their willingness to send someone further than that or the willingness of the cooperating dealership to send someone halfway.

If I were you, I would put in the build order like everyone else has or demand your deposit back to do the nationwide search yourself.

Agree. Go get your money back. That's not a "real" order....simply a "wish list." I've done THAT for the past month without having to give ANYone money. And it literally takes seconds for the supply manager to check as far out in miles as you want. While sitting at the dealership, the salesman and manager took 5 minutes to do a search. Found the closest color of Trailhawk I wanted with a FEW of the specs I was looking for was in Kansas. Would have cost an extra $1400 to have it shipped here in Utah.

Sorry folks, been a bit busy and just saw this thread. Can anyone explain the statuses? I seem to be the only on not to know what C, D, etc...mean. I have not ordered one, but what do they mean?

In production, scheduled to produce, ready to ship? How long is it anyway from sail to arrival? I want MySky desperately, and tired of waiting already, but am hopeful if these orders are shipping soon, more non specific ordered MySkys are also coming.
