I thought I open this topic to share some ideas concerning tuning possibilities and ideas.

I have read several discussions on this forum about changing grills, recoloring thing, etc.
So, if you have some ideas, please share them.

As a first step here you find a catalogue that I received with my Renegade concerning
official parts. Although it is in Hungarian, part numbers supposed to be the same
(unfortunately I have not found this catalogue online so far).

Another little thing that I have done is changing the tire valve cups to this thief
protected ones:

I hope to see some more thoughts.

Hello! I'm glad you started this thread as I too am curious about mods that people have done. So far I have only tinted my windows, removed the dealer decal, and bought some under the dash leds. I am currently researching how to change the trim accents in the interior, but am not having much luck. Hopefully aftermarket will provide me with what I need. Something else that I am interested in is installing a sun roof, much like those in the Jeep Grand Cherokee (I didn't like the dark MySky panels so skipped them, would be more appealing if they were glass).I would like to ask about the tire valve cups. My Rene came with those and I don't understand their function. Would you mind telling me? Thanks

My Rene came with black plastic valve cups, so I bought these metal ones with little screws. You put the valve cups on and tight the screws in them. So it is nearly impossible to remove them unless you have the accompanying screwdriver (so they are thief protected).

Over here some youngsters like to make fun of that they remove such little fancy things from your car while parking in a public place.

Hi Jamie,

Do you mean something like this as a sport airfilter?

Supposed to be good most of them. Over here you
can buy different converters for the air filters that
fits the diameter of the air tube in the Renegade.

Yap that's it. But i dont know if the sounds of the motor after installing this filter would fit the renegade. I don't want it to sound like some japanese import tuned up sportscar...
And i read some stuff it could lower the engine power if it can't suck cold air. Anybody?

I've fitted a Diesel-Tuning box which is good for an extra 40bhp. It's pretty good so far. Taken my 140bhp 2.0 4WD up to 180bhp odd. Definitely feels better.

I'm fitting the black front grill, black wrapping any chrome including rear tail light surround and roof rails. I've also ordered satin black 19x8.0 Eta Beta Rochel rims with 235/45/19 Michelin's.

Oh...and H&R sports springs are going in which will firm things up a little and lower it down 40mm..

I think that's a fair bit for now. I'll post picks as I go..
