Has anyone experienced turn signals which are not audible? Mine sporadically clicks when turn signals are activated(normal), then will stop clicking noise at next turn. Turning left to right turn signal will not cause signal clicking. Then, at next turn, signal will start working again. Would appreciate any information that anyone else has had concerning this anomaly.

I wish I had your problem. My '15 Trailhawk has turn signals that sound like there is a sturdy dwarf under the dash putting a sledgehammer to an anvil! It's by far the loudest turn signal flasher I have ever heard.

Let me know know if you figure out what's wrong with yours so I can break mine in the same way.

This is the first I've heard of this concern, yuwan63755. I don't see any TSBs related to this either. I would recommend having a dealership check this out for you.

Well after a lot of trial and error I found out that the turn signal sound does not work consistently if the seat belt is not fastened. Since I noticed this around my residence when I did not have seat belt fastened, I found that this is the reason. With seatbelt fastened, the turn signal sound works correctly and without fail. Hope this helps someone if they notice their tone not working.

YES!!! Might seem like it's not so bad a problem until you drive for a while before realizing its on.
I called my Jeep dealership and they acted like they didn't have a clue. They recommended I bring it in so they can look at it. I'm going to try to so that Monday!

Brought mine to the dealership yesterday. They gave me a rental because whatever the problem was, it was under warranty. I had no seatbelt chime, no chime upon ignition start-up, no turn signal click sounds, no alarms whatsoever. There WAS a short time that it did start working, but it went away again after a day and never started working again. No word from the dealership yet. I miss my Renegade so much. This Ford Focus just is not cool at all... ?

Mine does this exact thing did you figure out the problem? Most of the time it does not make a sound with the blinker on but every now and again it does.. Wish it just worked right.... Mine has a couple quirks like that but I bought the life time warranty some I'm gonna keep her till Jesus comes back!

If you car is making a chime (seat belt, headlight on for manual headlights etc.) then the turn signals will not click. I think a common sound module/speaker/buzzer is used for the sounds and it can only make one sound at a time. This was the same for my parent's Nissan Pathfinder and Xterra. They had a loud turn signal too. But if nothing is buzzing/clicking then there might be something wrong with that common source of sound.

You must like noise: You are able to put up with the constant seat belt warning and didn't like not hearing the loud turn signal.

sounds like you have two unrelated problems. i can'r figure why my limited does not click sound anymore. Off to the dealer!

After all internal chimes/alarms stopped on mine, dealer replaced entire instrument cluster and problem is resolved. Get it done while under warranty, as part is about $1000 by itself, less installation. See my entry in electronics section of forum for more information.

We’re you ever able to figure out the issue? I don’t have seatbelt or turn signal noise. I drive a lot and not realizing that my directional is on is very annoying
