I would like to know if it is possible to install a Uconnect 7" or 8,4" Navigation system on a Jeep Renegade 2018 ("1.0 GSE Petrol Turbo 120bhp Manual") with currently Uconnect 5" system (similar images attached).

also do you know from where can i purchase such systems?

Even if you were to find one at a wrecking yard and install it your self (they are plug and play), you will need to take it to the dealer to get the functions for that stereo enabled as @Mrsig stated.

Don't know how much that will cost you...but one of the first things I did when I got my Renegade was have an after-market radio head installed. Purchase + pro installation was about $600 - but I have a great HD radio tuner with a built in DVD player, and best of all it has Android Auto/Apple CarPlay so you have your favorite map/music/phone/text apps front and center on your screen. Plus it works with the factory backup camera perfectly. Very happy with that decision, 20x better than the stock radio.

Thanks for your reply, which model did you install? I'm planning to install the Alpine X803D-U system!
I got a Kenwood unit (DDX9704S) off of Amazon and took it to the shop to have it installed (was about $100 less than what they were charging at the shop for the head unit).

Interestingly, I just checked and it's actually like $100 more than I payed 2 years ago lol.

I'm sure you can find different/newer models for less money though. Just browsing I saw several in the $300-400 range. Not sure about all the features, though. This one has just about everything you could want except wireless CarPlay/Android Auto (still have to plug phone in with cable). Some of the newer units I believe offer these wirelessly. When I was shopping they only had one at the time and it was like $1200.

Also - pay attention to what kind of screen it has. Resistive vs. capacitative - capacitative is the better one.
