Uconnect Navigation system jeep renegade

Don't know how much that will cost you...but one of the first things I did when I got my Renegade was have an after-market radio head installed. Purchase + pro installation was about $600 - but I have a great HD radio tuner with a built in DVD player, and best of all it has Android Auto/Apple CarPlay so you have your favorite map/music/phone/text apps front and center on your screen. Plus it works with the factory backup camera perfectly. Very happy with that decision, 20x better than the stock radio.

I got a Kenwood unit (DDX9704S) off of Amazon and took it to the shop to have it installed (was about $100 less than what they were charging at the shop for the head unit).

Interestingly, I just checked and it's actually like $100 more than I payed 2 years ago lol.

I'm sure you can find different/newer models for less money though. Just browsing I saw several in the $300-400 range. Not sure about all the features, though. This one has just about everything you could want except wireless CarPlay/Android Auto (still have to plug phone in with cable). Some of the newer units I believe offer these wirelessly. When I was shopping they only had one at the time and it was like $1200.

Also - pay attention to what kind of screen it has. Resistive vs. capacitative - capacitative is the better one.
