I use voice to text occasionally (be there in 10, I'm here, etc...) and was wondering is that part of the paid subscription? I don't plan on paying once the trial is up, but I kind of feel that its absolutely absurd to make you pay for that feature. I understand the other features, as their needs to be a service backing them but a safety feature like this we shouldn't have to pay for:confused:

Also, the website states you can control temperature, how so? I am at work, or I would be out talking to my car right now.

I am also missing a few apps..gah, but I see that more then a few people are as well, and that's another issue on its own.

I'll have to check. My g/f has the Grand Cherokee and I think it's 1 year on hers. I just got my Renegade yesterday with the 6.5, paired my phone to play audio, but haven't done anything other than calling. Iphones in general you can't text to speech if that's what you use.

I had the temperature control feature in my 2012 Focus and always did it manually the entire time. If the Jeep has this feature, hit the voice icon on the left side of the steering wheel. It shows some example commands. I recommend you do it while parked so you can focus on it.

Make sure show notifications is turned on in the Bluetooth settings. If it wasn't turn on and reboot phone. Should work

Thank you! I didn't have the "show notifications" on. I didn't even know that option existed to be honest.

Thanks everyone for your quick feedback on this.

Uconnect is not what I was hoping for in a hands free driving system. The navigation system won't set up easily using your voice. I rarely know the address of where I am going. I want to say something like "Ikea in Fresno CA"
You have to always touch the screen to get rid of weather warning system alerts. I can't find a way to stop this weather warning. The weather screen is not fine tuned small enough to see the weather anyway.
Plus, I can't believe I may have to buy a subscription to use hands free after a "free trial"
