So this video show the backup camera in the rear view mirror, I would have thought it would be in the dash unit?

Interesting. My understanding was it displayed in the radio head unit and had the red/yellow/green guide bars that bent to show travel while backing up and turning.

My impression is "Meh" but is that culturally outdated yet?

Perhaps it depends on what uconnect system and/or model. Personally I don't think I'd like it in the mirror, much prefer the dash display.

I think you're probably right-I've seen them in rear view mirrors on some Nissan models and in the head unit of the same model if you opt for the touch-screen.

For now, parking option (with backup camera) can't be ordered in Europe. I hope it comes out in December.

Wow. No backup camera in Europe. I would be terrified trying to park. Especially Rome, Paris, etc. I would imagine a backup camera would be mandated law in Europe.

weird how there's no option for it especially for a system like this which seems easy enough to implement within a short amount of time. probably a temporary deal killer for some right now.
