Okay, so putting the slush mats in, I noticed what appears to be the steering coming up from the floor, open and not closed in by the dash....anyone else notice this? LOL....it's right behind the drivers peddle...dont' know if that is a 'concern' or not...anyone else notice it?

Jus checking....not crazy...okay maybe a LITTLE crazy

If you're referring to the universal joint visible behind the gas pedal, I noticed it. I thought it was pretty cool, a nice reminder about all the mechanical intricacies that you don't often think about when driving a modern vehicle.

Not to mention that, if that joint ever goes bad, it's easy to get to!

I assume its just a design choice, not some kind of manufacturing defect. I wouldn't be concerned, more intrigued.

LOL...I thought that too 'well LOOK at THAT! How cool!' and I agree, it is a reminder of the amazing technology we don't really 'think' about as we're enjoying that nice responsive steering...and OH yeah, easy to get to for sure....Thanks all, just wanted to be sure....
