After spending 5 pleasant years in a Black 2.0 ltr CRD Jeep Compass Limited, I have traded it in for a white OE Jeep Renegade 1.6 diesel.
I honestly called in to the dealership just to see what they looked like.
One test drive later and I was hooked. I couldn't believe how smooth and quiet it was compared to the Compass. Great power to gear ratio.
Unbelievable deal, so I now have a 4 to 5 week wait.

Welcome to the forum Raff, sounds like the trip to the dealership was well worth it. Now the waiting begins.

Any discounts or special offers on Renegade?

Hi welcome to the forum.
I'm in the USA and I'm wondering what sort of incentives or offers are being offered in the UK. I took a look at some dealers in England and they seem to be offering a 1,000 Euro factory discount and leases at 150 Euro.
I'm hoping that there will be some incentives offered over here, any info will be appreciated, thanks.

As I'm in Northern Ireland, my deal is the same as the UK one.
£1000 sterling off list price and zero percent interest on hire purchase loan.
The incentive for me was " the Jeep Loyalty Scheme", as the salesman called it.
Because I was trading in a Jeep, another £1000 sterling discount.
Yes that's £2000 Pounds Sterling off the List price. (Plus I got top book on the Compass)
That's why I decided to upgrade from a Longitude to the OE.

Sounds good! Out of interest, when did you order?

When I placed my order two weeks ago, I was told there were absolutely no OE left in the UK.
Car was ordered 4th March.
Confirmation e mail was received 2 days later from dealer.
I was looking to order a longitude then I changed my mind to a Limited Edition due to the generous cash back.
It was actually the salesman who encouraged me to go for the OE as he pointed out it is approximately £500 pounds more than the Limited Edition with approximately £1500 pounds worth of extras.

I spent weeks mulling over Longitude, Limited, and OE. Decided eventually on Longitude as I'm not a fan of how leather feels, which both Limited and OE have as standard.

I've confirmation from the dealer, but still waiting to hear about a build week which they hoped to have this week. I reckon the 8-week delivery timescale is out the window based on what others have said about factory orders.

Anyway, enjoy it when it arrives!

Hanx (thanks) all for the warm welcome.
I was previously on another Jeep forum for the Compass.
It's great the tips and help you can pick up.

My wife drives a Skoda Fabia and last week the central locking, the front wipers, interior lights and the indicators stopped working. One post on a Skoda forum and the problem was solved. (remove battery terminal for 10 seconds and replace. Problem cured???)

I contacted my dealer today and he informed me that I got the last white OE into Northern Ireland.
He went onto say that my car had been dispatched from Italy and was due by the end of next week.
When I enquired about the alarm problem he said that they now had the software to update in their premises.
He also said that there would be a price increase from April.
Time will tell the tale ;)

Update time.

As suggested previously by another forum member, who received a compensation voucher from Jeep UK for late delivery, I have registered a complaint with Jeep UK.

I'm just off the phone from customer service, to basically complain that when I ordered my OE on March 4th, I was given a delivery date of March 30th and as of today, April 1st (no it's not a joke), I find this unacceptable.
The young lady on the phone was very polite and understanding. She has opened a complaints procedure, took my details, gave me a reference number and said that some one will be in contact with an update.
Any further guidance or help for others that may wish to lodge a complaint please chip in.
When I am contacted I will update.

Mods if this is in the wrong place feel free to move.

Update time Wednesday April 8th

I was contacted by Jeep Customer Services. The guy apologised profusely for not contacting sooner and said he would update me by the end of the week on the where abouts of my car. He admitted that the car was held up at a dock yard in England.
He stated that I would be "suitably compensated".
Again I will update when contacted.

You should get £150 letter/voucher to use at any Jeep dealer for accessories or towards servicing:)
Cars are at the port in England down the road from me in Bristol normally 10-14 working days turn around before transporting off to dealer?
Pic taken Easter Monday.

Thanks Shrek I think it was you who inspired me :)
I mentioned the rear arm rest but that didn't wash with him.
I would advise people to register a complaint. It's an 0800 number so costs nothing, but as you say you may get a £150 voucher.
As we say over here " Happy Days" :)

Update Monday April 13th

Got a call from Jeep Customer Services today lunch time.
Car is leaving England and will be with dealer in N.I. By Wednesday.
The caller confirmed that there will be £150 voucher registered with the dealer to spend on assessories or merchandise.
Now what to do with it?

Update Tuesday 14th.

Got a call from the dealer late this evening, car is ready for picking up Thursday 16th at 2.00pm.
The waiting is over.
On consideration I think I'll spend the voucher on merchandise.
I quite fancy a Jeep coat.
