Has anyone else had the weather seal on the windows crack? Brought in September and now the seal on the drivers door is cracked and makes a lot of noise while driving. 20190607_171422_1560014328872.jpg

Hi NachesHawk,
We're sorry to hear about this. If you decide to have your dealer address this, please send our team a private message and we would be happy to add additional assistance throughout this process!

Nope, haven't seen that on mine or any of the ones I run into regularly. Have it warrantied assuming you bought it new.

We had the same problem, it was very annoying driving on the highway everyday. But the dealer was great and got it fixed/replaced. It came as a whole piece for the door.

Noticed that it tears towards the rear of the side windows too.

The electric windows closing too forcefully seems to be the issue.
The stops aren't quite right.

Ouch and I thought the whistling coming through my drivers window was bad.

You wont be using a tissue wedged into the window seal to stop the wind on your window as I do. looks like you need a beach towel and a set of ear muffs :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Naturally I am jesting but on a serious note that is really bad news. The damage is horrendous because the window is not stopping where it should. If the Dealership can fix it then so can your local Bodyshop repair garage and at a fraction of the price. At least you have a few options.

Fingers crossed and I wish you a speedy result.

Yay, fixed! It took a while to get the parts but the dealer fixed it under warranty.
My dealer is saying that it is not covered by any warranty and want to charge almost $800 to replace the two sides. (Both passengers & drivers cracked. Not happy that this happened and believe it is a defect in original install.

Mine was under 2 years and they didn't question it.

Some of these pictures show that the weatherstripping was pushed upward. Was that from the window glass or have people tied stuff to the roof with straps or rope passed through the windows?

The tech thinks it from the windows traveling to far up, all four of my windows have done this. The rear window are pulling away from the side caps. I am thinking of trading it in don't need this kind of stress.

Going through my own window seal problem. Going to take to the dealer this we see what they can do to fix it.
This will be the fourth time in to repair these as well. They fix them and then the same thing happens again, plus the fact they scratch the whole bottom of my door.

My experience too. Dealer quoted $160 to diagnose the obvious and $700 to repair.
