Love the Renegade and have been following all the press releases for over a year..I go to the Jeep website and see all the configurations but as of now, only the automatic and no mysky have been available.
I did a search for the entire US on Cars.com and there were over 8000 Renegades for sale and 25 had manual trans. When I clicked on the manual trans listings all the photos showed the auto trans shifter which leads me to believe that there are no manual trans Renegades here yet.
Anyone out there have any info on their arrival..or are they only going to offer the automatic in the US??

None of the initial shipments included MySky, might be the same for the manual 1.4L, not so sure. The only way to get a MySky right now is to order it. They are warning people that it could take up to 16 weeks, but we're starting to see orders made last month go into D1 status, which probably means we'll see these orders delivered within 2-3 months from order, rather than 4 months.

I just called every dealership between Brooklyn and Maine and was told that no manuals have been shipped and they have no idea when they will be! I also heard they aren't even taking orders for them at this time. I think I am just going to hang tight for a few months and let the dust settle....

Thanks for doing all of that and reporting it here.

At least having info from all dealers being consistent like that, it's a definite.

What are you driving at the moment?

btw, welcome!

I wondered about that as well. From what I've gathered there are plenty of folks wanting that option. How Fiat didn't know this and just distribute the Rene without it is weird.

I understand that the manual is probably not as popular so they might have limited supply, but the MySky I would expect to be quite popular. Why don't they have more of them ready to go?
Possibilities (same goes for the MIA accessories):

1. Supply issue from the suppliers. Most parts you see on any given car are not manufactured by the make, but by automotive suppliers (Bosche, Denso, Valeo, Infineon, etc.)

2. Assembly issue. There may be delays in setting up the production line for MySky. And instead of delaying production of all Renegades, Fiat/Chrysler chose to move forward with production so that they have cars to sell (sales = cashflow) instead of missing launch deadlines.

As stated previously, the Renegade's primary market is Europe. The 1.4T MT-6 was likely offered here to generate media attention (most thought it was better to drive). There will be some, but probably only in select markets or by special order.
