The CX-5 is a pretty nice vehicle and sadly none of those virtues carry over into the CX-3. Tiny, cramped, and lacking virtues. I agree with the OP what makes it an SUV crossover? AWD? Catchy ad campaign? Given its off-road creed is nearly that of a Spark Activ I don?t see any adventure DNA to be found. Also the infotainment controls are pretty hard to master. Pretty much this whole class other than the Renegade are cars on roids hoping we do not notice their suv look is just a cover up.
What a great comparison:

"Likely standard and available features and options being given to the new Mazda CX-3 include a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment interface, voice controls, heated seats, navigation system and many active safety features"

So basically they aren't sure of what it'll be equipped with, but "likely" to have features that are also on the Jeep as standard...
If it doesn?t have automatic heated seat and steering wheel it needs to rethink its life
