Hello its possible the dealer did not remove the Ship Mode when prepping. someone here had a similiar problem and gave simple steps to remove it. maybe theres a search feature here, not sure.

I did try a few times and it didn't work! Then, after 10 seconds I turn ignition on while holding the turn signal switch in the "flash to pass feature" position and ... IT DID WORKED!!!

What type of engine does your Renegade have? Also, have you tried normsf’s suggestion?

I would recommend bringing your vehicle to an FCA dealership to have them take a look at it if you’re still experiencing this concern. If you PM me your VIN, contact info, and dealership info I can look into this further for you.

I'd be taking it back to the dealer so they can do a proper inspection and see what else they missed.

I took it back to the dealer service dept. Explained what it was doing yesterday (it's not doing it today, so far) and what was his brilliant suggestion? "Oh just keep driving it and if it does it again definitely bring it back"

Are you kidding me!

I inquired about it being in Ship Mode and he got in and said it wasn't.
