Been following the blogs, websites, reviews, advertising etc. for well over a year on this vehicle. When is Jeep going to release more info on price, release date etc. The Renegade has been on their website for over 3 months.
I talked to my local dealer today and they had no info available that I couldn't get by searching on this site. (they tried to sell me a Cherokee when I was there)

We all wish we knew. We've reached the point where fca/jeep employees are doing something other than parroting 8 month old press releases or remaining silent. Given they are trying to figure out what they are allowed to say, it's reasonable to assume more info legitimately exists, and we'll hear something soon.

Or they are morons.

The latest consensus (auto show articles and media spots) is that we will be able to walk into our local dealer and purchase a Renegade a month from now. I however am beginning to doubt this because of the lack of information officially released by Jeep.

For a while now I have posited that the Sport, Latitude, and Limited would be available in January, with the TrailHawk available closer to spring of 2015. But I am beginning to think I am wrong about the January release.

Do we have any automobile marketing experts in the house who can provide any insight into what Jeep may be thinking based on a January North American release and no official info yet?

Were TH's launched concurrently with Sport/Latitude/Limited when KL showed up just over a year ago?

The lack of information leading up until now for me was a good indicator of this, which I wouldn't have expected to be the case. Too bad there's still not much information on it coming from Jeep.

Watched pot never boils.

You guys are driving yourself nuts. It'll come out when it comes out. You've no control over it so relax and enjoy some anticipation? Won't be too long now.

How about we talk about arranging an engine plant or assembly plant tour? Something to take out minds off the lack of info for awhile. :)

As just one other Guy wrote ... US will get the faulty ones falling out of the factory ... as far as there are not enough faulties the cannot give any to the US Market ... perhaps you might get some when production in Brasil is runnig ...

So what do you expect? get the first ones for the cheapest Price on the Planet?

Dream on ... ;):x:D>:D

P.S.:
My Renegade has just run 5704 km ... and i just love him ... 0:)

I was at the Phx. autp show last week and the rep present said showrooms are expected to get delivery in late Jan. early Feb. The Orange one at the show was a very nice looking Trailhawk. It was on a stage so no entry but looking underneath showed no skid plates and a beefy looking suspension.

This is crazy that we are less than a month away from 2015 and still no pricing or release date? It really needs to be labeled a 2016 at this point. They are already losing potential buyers due to this poor marketing I mean really no updates or anything for almost a year, come on Jeep!!

Yesterday I got an email from Jeep that said "first quarter" of 2015. I know you have all gotten the same response, just thought I'd share that as of right now the representatives are still saying first quarter...which obviously is sometime this winter since the first quarter ends March 31. I personally will believe it when I see it.

Have you heard about the 2015 Jeep Renegade? We should be able to start ordering Renegades in January and expect to see them at the dealership around March 2015.

Horrendously terrible timing on FCA's part because every salesman in 2/3rds of the U.S. knows that 4x4s sell best during winter when people are shopping for something that'll get them around in the snow. When March rolls around, convertibles and sports cars will be the hot ticket.

My guess is they will flood the system with 2 wheel drive units and those of us who want 4 x 4's will have to wait even longer. It's amazing how many dealers here in the snow belt will order these vehicles in 2 wheel drive only!
