I'm an older dude on a slow learning curve. I cannot get window locks to function properly and I can't open lift gate. I think my problems might be generated by the new fangled Uconnect system. Can anyone help?

LIFTGATE
Opening
To unlock the liftgate, use the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter or activate the power door lock switches located on the driver door handle.
To open the liftgate, squeeze the electronic liftgate release and pull the liftgate open with one fluid motion.
What type of problems are you having with the door locks? Are they not responding when you try to lock/unlock? If so check out this thread-
