Hi folks,

I've just bought a 2016 Renegade Limited and noticed what when I use the windscreen wash, it sprays all over the bonnet (hood). I've cleaned out the jets with a pin, made sure the hose is connected to the jet properly etc, but it still just seems to 'spill' out on the bonnet, and hit the lower part of the windscreen instead of spraying up the windscreen, like I would expect. It seems to have enough pump pressure.

Is this normal for a renegade?

Cleaning with a pin is probably what previous owner did.
You should only clean them by soaking in vinegar, otherwise the jets get ruined.


They are standard Fiat washer jets. Just pick up a new pair.

Inside the nozzle on older vehicles was almost like a small ball bearing with a hole right through it. Inserting the pin into it and gently easing it whatever direction you needed allowed some movement.

I am unsure if the Jeep has this.
