My wife loves the idea of a bull bar and off-road light bar but us worried about voiding the warranty. Should she be worried?

Also, where would we find these sorts of accessories?

better ask your dealer about the warranty issue. i know a german and italian company that already designed a bull bar for the renegade.
you can find it on ebay if you search for jeep renegade 2015

The only aftermarket parts that can void your warranty are those directly involved in a problem. So a bolt on bull bar that requires no modifications? There's not really anything they can void. However a light system that is tapped into the electric system, they can sit there and blame it for a host of electrical problems and probably be on legally defensible footing. Blame it for something like a bum head gasket though? No.

I'd say you'd be fairly safe with mods. The bull bar should be fine. If an electrical problem does happen you could be in trouble, but on the whole you aren't going to be in danger of not having your engine repaired because you put a light bar on your Renegade.

To expand on raz-0's response which is absolutely correct, your warranty can't technically be voided. FCA can reject a claim on a single issue that they can prove was caused by something you added, but it won't void your warranty on the rest of the vehicle.

Also, the burden of proof is on them to show that your add on was the cause of the problem.

So I'd say bumpers are pretty safe. Add an aftermarket forced induction kit? Good luck with any drivetrain claims with that. No problem for warranty work on a busted radio, however, as one could not be blamed for the other.

Thanks guys this helps. We definitely want to pursue a bull bar and if we get a light bar we would likely attempt to have the dealer install it for that added piece of mind.

There is a local Jeep and off-road shop that may have or maybe custom install a bull bar. It was raining bad again today so we didn't get over there. :(
