Hi all, I am currentry considering getting a Trailhawk, currently own an 11 Wrangler Sport 2 door, wanting to get something more geared to family as we are talking about having kids. I have been eyeballing the Renegades closely and I love the pricing, I dislike the price of the JKU. Suggestions???

You have at least 9 months minimum to wait and see how the Renegade turns out even if happy news visits you tomorrow.

The only exception would be if getting a Renegade now would lower your monthly payments.
Kids are expensive, so building a baby bankroll now would be wise.

Very much so baby bankroll, that's great advice. While you are watching reliability and teething problem you could be saving also for the Renegade for a huge down payment to have cheaper monthly to help with child expenses.

Some off topic advice when it comes to babies.... When you go to make your registry, you are going to be tempted to get the most fancy cribs, changing tables, wipe warmers, and what not. Just get the basics because they out grow them so fast. Your biggest expense will be diapers and clothes. About a year before you start trying, every payday buy a box of diapers and wipes like at Costco or something. Get a basic nice, sturdy crib and baby furniture but don't go all out with the fancy stuff. In about three years it will all be covered in sucked and Crain marks and they will have outgrown it. Register for diapers, wipes, clothes bottles and the basics.
