Battery Positive Terminal Fuse Cover

Hi, I've recently bought a UK 2016 Renegade 1.4 Turbo and I happened to notice that there is a cover missing from the small fuse box on the battery positive terminal (see picture, assuming I have managed to upload it correctly). A bit of searching on the internet leads me to Mopar part number 68109570AA, however every site I've seen lists this as a US/Canada part and the only suppliers I can find are in the US. I'm assuming the UK part must be different?

Can anyone confirm the correct part number for the cover, and recommend a UK supplier? Apologies if this is a dumb question or the wrong forum. I'm new here.

Cheers, Chris.

Many thanks Marek. At least I know I was heading down the right line with that part number! I can't find a single UK supplier who lists that part. Guess I'll have to try a Jeep dealership... Cheers, Chris.

Thanks again. I actually found the original plastic cover today while tracing a slight oil leak (which looks like the common problem of the vacuum pump gasket) -- it was wedged down between the battery tray and the engine block. Presumably dropped there during the last service or something.

However, I've bookmarked the two sites you mentioned as it seems that some parts are tricky to get in Europe (which is strange, given that Mopar is essentially a European-owned company). I tried emailing moparstore.co.uk with the part number and they basically said "No can do... go to a Jeep dealer"! Will probably be cheaper for me to order any future parts from the US, so thanks for the links.

You're welcome.

Mopar (MOtor PARts) was originally the parts brand for Chrysler -- back when that was U.S. owned. Chrysler in the U.S. has included Dodge and Jeep, and some other brands. It was one of the traditional "Big Three" American automakers, alongside Ford and General Motors.

Chrysler, going back decades, has had periodic troubles. Now the Italian Stellantis owns Chrysler; so, yes, it's now European-owned.

But it is strange that you're not finding it easy to find parts. A Brit Mopar web site turned you away...? As far as I know, the Renegade has been very popular in Europe; and is still being produced in its EV and hybrid versions (but completely discontinued here in the U.S.). Plus the engines and other bits are common to Fiats and such.

Maybe it's just a problem in the UK...?

Anyway, glad you found that cover.
It's probably just a UK thing. I don't think many people here do their own car maintenance, especially on newer cars -- quite a lot of people I know here would call out a recovery service for a flat tyre! :) I get the impression that DIY car maintenance is more of a thing in a lot of the US, so end-user parts supply is easier.
