Do anyone change their brake fluid every 20000 miles

Owner's manual say every two years regardless on mileage.
I think it's pretty-universal manufacturer's guidance to change change brake fluid every two years, regardless of mileage. We've had VWs for over two decades now (still do), and VW has recommended that the whole time.

As mentioned, the reason is that brake fluid absorbs moisture over time -- I think the water can then turn to vapor when the brakes are hot. Not good.

The main reason to change brake fluid is moisture content. You can save yourself time and $$$ if you buy a brake fluid tester and replace it when the brake fluid checker says the moisture content is beyond the acceptable level. One or two year intervals is likely much more than is needed, but why not just do it when the data from a toolays it's needed vs guessing with a shorter than needed interval. If you race your vehicle on the track that might be a reason to change it for other than moisture content alone

I've never done that... Do you recommend one of the electronic test instruments or the one-shot test strips? Specific recommendation welcome.
