Custom HID & RGB LED Headlight Retrofit

Hey Guys and Gals!

About a month ago, I completed a custom headlight build for a friend's 2017 Jeep Renegade. After posting some pictures on Instagram, I was surprised at the volume of positive response from other Renegade owners. Apparently it is not commonly known that upgraded headlight builds are readily available to you!

So I thought I'd share some information here to help assist in understanding what options are out there and address some frequently asked questions.

But first thing's first. Let me show off the headlight build I did! :)

The stock setup with which I'm sure you're all very familiar:

Here's the shopping list of modifications in this headlight. And then show some of the fancy pants options in action.

Interior Gloss Black Paint + Clear Coat
Sidemarkers Tinted Black + Clear Coat
Morimoto MD2S Projector Retrofit + Apollo 2.0 Shrouds
Profile Pivot Switchback Halo on Shrouds

Morimoto HID Kit (35W Morimoto Ballasts, 5500K Morimoto D2S HID Bulbs, Relay Harness w/Resistor Packs & Capacitor Link)

The inner halo is purely a switchback halo. Meaning that is white running light and blinks amber with turn signal. The outer halo is ALSO switchback. So you can do a very fun driving mode of dual white halos that both blink amber when you activate the blinker. Demonstration:
