We just bought a jeep renegade hybrid 2022 and the navigation app is not there. Can anyone guide me on how to install the navigation app please? I know I can use android auto but i would like to have the original app too.

I believe in order to have integrated navigation, you need a Uconnect unit that specifically has that feature; like the Uconnect 4C NAV that I have in my 2021 Trailhawk.
That having been said, I'm pretty-sure all Renegades for the past few years sold in the U.S. have the NAV version. No idea about you in Malta...
I like the integrated system because I don't usually plug or project my cell phone to the system. The only time I plug it in is when using an offroad navigation app (Gaia GPS in my case).
As jeeps4me indicated, you can always plug in or project your cell/mobile phone map (Google Maps) to your Uconnect. Advantage is that you'll always have updated maps. Disadvantage is that, at least if you use Android Auto with a cable, the connection isn't always stable.

Congrats on the new Renegade! To get the navigation app, try updating your Uconnect system through the settings or check the Jeep website for any software updates for your model.
I use that socket for iPhone charging, but I never thought I could use Google Maps from the phone and have it on the Uconnect screen. Now I need to try this out.
