Just curious how the pricing is working out for those of us in NY. I'll report back tonight on what I get offered here on Long Island.
I just checked their website, it's pretty generous in what qualifies:Foobar, do you think Brooklyn would count as Long Island?![]()
Great Mark! Youre in my neighborhood. Thanks! Ps cannot wait to see your sunroof! Post pics please when its done?A little back and forth I wanted 1200 (the cost of the sunroof) but I am happy with $900. If anyone is looking for a vehicle in Ma. I Highly suggest talking to Soloman Reddix at Jeep 24 in Brockton. Just tell him that I (Marc Craig) referred you. He is the one that got me the deal, and I am sure he'd help out other jeep enthusiasts.
I'm a former Jeep salesman, and I went to my old friends. I got the car at invoice. There's honestly not a huge amount of difference from invoice to sticker on these. Also, there are no rebates yet, so the difference of price dealer to dealer isn't going to be much. My deal was great because of what they did for me on my trade. I was 3000 upside down in negative equity on my charger and they took care of all of that for me.Just curious how the pricing is working out for those of us in NY. I didn't look at the date. The conquest (current lease) rebate is one of the only ones out for the Renegade. As far as the Costco thing, that is also a legitimate deal. Sounds like dollar for dollar we got a really similar deal. You should be very content with what that dealer did for you. Thanks Rex, you replied to an old post that has since been followed up on. I bought my jeep back in April and received it in June. Ended up paying 2K under invoice - 500 under for the Costco no haggle deal, another 500 from Jeep as an incentive to buy after joining their mailing list and another 1000 because I had a lease from a competing brand.
I keep hearing invoice rices are inflated and not any longer what they used to be. Supposedly, dealers pay nowadays considerably under invoice price. So MSRP is for suckers, most people are happy if they get a price between invoice and MSRP, but a good price should be under invoice price. So I guess the invoice price should be the basis for negotiations.Invoice on a Trailhawk with no options is 25,141. Add in destination fee of 995, and assume title, license, and doc is another 50, 60, and 75 (give or take), you're now at 26321 which still leaves 2179 left from 28500 which works out to be around 8.3% of the invoice+destination.
