I have a 2018 latitude 1.4 liter. I need to replace the crankshaft position sensor. I have the replacement part but can't locate it on the engine. Is it accessible from above or do I need to get under the car? Can someone tell me where to look? Thanks

From my service manual (2017) it is under the air hose that goes from the intercooler to the throttle body.

And I confirmed it, under the area where the green arrow is pointing.

This is a shot with holding the phone upside down stuck down along the battery with the camera pointing at the transmission side of the engine.

This is the camshaft position sensor. The crankshaft position sensor is located at the rear of the crankshaft on the gearbox side. There is a plug hidden way down, I think either under the starter motor or on the turbo side near the bottom of the bell housing. I suspect the gearbox needs to be removed to fit the crankshaft position sensor.
(not to be confused with the crank/engine speed sensor located on the harmonic balancer)
